Someone I love very much once told me that animals don't have souls and therefore don't go to Heaven. I don't believe this because I have to believe otherwise. I choose to believe otherwise. How can that faithful animal placed on this earth by GOD Himself not have a soul? They have breath of God in their lungs; He breathed life into them. My babies look at me as if I am the center of their universe when it is really the opposite ... they are my nuclei and I revolve around them. Or maybe it's more like they are the fuel for my own soul. There is a dog Heaven. I know it. There is also a cat Heaven. I know it. How do I know it? Heaven wouldn't be the paradise that is described without my babies around me ... therefore I would wish for them in my paradise.

Dogs go to Heaven.
Cats go to Heaven.
Animals do go to Heaven.

There is nothing so pure at the end of life than a faithful dog or cat. There is no evil in them. They're dogs and cats. Evil is a human thing.

So that's what I think.
And you know what? He told me today, "Honey, she's in Heaven now, even though I don't believe in it, you do ... and if it's there, she's in it."

So yeah, he's worth it.

So to my baby girl, Nutmeg: You're in that place surrounded by Woodstocks and squirrels. No one will spell B-A-T-H at you. No one will touch your feet. No one will scratch the wall. You can eat chicken to your heart's content. And baby girl, you can curl up with us in our dreams ... all warm and snuggly. We'll feel you there. Say Hi to Chester, Gizmo, Miss Kitty, Chewy, Keba, Dudley, Kitten, Ke-Ke, Max, Killer, Evenrude, Turbo, Porky, Squeaky, Brandy, Benji, Joy, Duke, Wendy, Rusty, Birdy, Jake and all the others that I'm too tired to remember names right now. I'll see you again outside my dreams, but hopefully not for a long time .......
